About Me

I have just moved to NYC to start the next chapter of my career alongside my partner. I'm seeking out freelance technician work and making new connections as I go. I was previously employed in Greenfield, Indiana by Mid-America Sound as a lighting, video, rigging and motor technician. Through Mid-America, I had the opportunity to work on a variety of shows in a diverse array of venues mainly in Indiana and surrounding states, but also the occasional show further away, such as Boston, Massachusetts, Westpoint, New York, or on a cruise ship in the Caribbean. Now I'm hoping to focus my time in a city with such a wide variety of opportunities!

I achieved my Bachelor's degree in Theatre Design and Technology from Ball State University in December of 2015. While there, I worked on a range of productions in many different roles, including carpentry, rigging, welding, and lighting.

In my time at Ball State, I also had the opportunity to intern several different places. I spent two summers at Porthouse Theatre in Kent, Ohio, and one summer working for Mid-America that eventually led to my full-time employment. In addition to my summer experiences, during the school year, I had the opportunity to be a lighting intern in Emens Auditorium. This set me up for a strong appreciation for the touring side of our industry.

I am extremely dedicated to my work. I love what I do and I love being involved in this diverse and fast-paced industry.
